Extractions
As a surgically trained prosthodontist, Dr. Sabo is an expert in atraumatic removal of teeth. When it is determined that a tooth has a poor prognosis and is no longer saveable, it is ideal that the tooth be removed as gently as possible in order to preserve maximal surrounding bone.

Bone Grafting
When a dental implant is being considered for tooth replacement, there is often a need for bone augmentation using a bone graft. This is a procedure that is done to thicken and grow bone in preparation for a dental implant.
This is a common procedure that we perform in combination with a tooth extraction to give our patients that best foundation for a future tooth replacement.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are a revolutionary treatment for replacing missing teeth. Essentially these are titanium screws that are inserted into the bone where a tooth has been lost. As the bone heals around the dental implant the new bone that forms tightly attaches to the titanium and serves as a new replacement to the root of the tooth. After the bone is attached, we are able to reconstruct teeth atop the implant or utilize the implant to tightly secure a removable prosthesis.
This type of treatment has revolutionized dentistry and is helping many of our patients go through their entire life without missing teeth.
Bone Recontouring
As a prosthodontist, Dr. Sabo understands that ideal bone & soft tissue foundation to facilitate success with removable dentures. This foundation can often be compromised by sharp protrusions of bone under a denture or partial.
We are able to alleviate this problem by properly contouring the bone to provide a comfortable base for the denture to rest on.
